There is finally a crispness in the air so I’m sharing my fall home decor updates today!
I love how far fall decorating has come. It used to solely be all about Halloween, but now there are so many autumnal options that are so pretty. Last year when we were on the hunt for a new home, we used to pass by the houses in neighborhood with beautiful fall entry ways. Jeff and I both agreed that if we had a house of our own, we would do the same. So, as you can imagine, I’m excited to be writing this post.
Even though I love fall home decor, I still want to keep things subtle and not overpower the house. For me, I’m all about a simple and muted color palette. Think sages, light grays, coppers and whites. But a little orange is necessary and I like how it adds a pop of color against the softness.
But the absolute fall essential is a pumpkin candle. We go through a couple during these months. It just makes the whole house smell warm and cozy!
I ordered these beautiful wreaths from Williams Sonoma a few weeks back. They are perfect! I love the lavender, which you can smell every time you open the door. It gives the entry way a nice harvest feel. The only thing missing is pumpkins. We are actually headed to a pumpkin patch this weekend. Honestly, we need to delay putting out pumpkins – all the squirrels start chewing on them.
Now, cue the fall sweaters because I’m ready!
