With only 16 days days left until Christmas, I’m sure you could use a little self care right about now. We are deep into the holiday season when stress is mounting and schedules are jammed pack. But remember, take some time for yourself before you burn out. Breathe a little and be kind to yourself. Maybe this self care gift guide is for you, or for someone on your list. Either way, lets take the next 16 days to enjoy the holiday season. And remember to bring these ideas well into 2019.
Day 1: Write down what you are grateful for in this journal and remember the things you already have. It’s the best way to start {and end} the day.
Day 2: I keep a rose quartz stone in my pocket on days when I know I’m going to feel overwhelmed. This sweet Love Bliss bag contains 5 heeling crystals. If you if you think it’s “out there” having something to fidget with when stressed can help.
Day 3: What are you wearing to bed at night? An old t-shirt from 15 years ago? Upgrade your sleep routine with these pajamas.
Day 4: I don’t know about you but my head spins at night with lists. I’ve been using this diffuser at bedtime with lavender oil to help me wind down and put my mind at ease.
Day 5: With so many guests coming in and out, time to clear the air with a home air purifier. It helps with dust, mold, pets, smoke, allergens and more.
Day 6: Take a glass of wine and your favorite book into the tub with this deluxe bath caddy.
Day 7: Address the holiday puffiness and use a Jade roller for some lymphatic massage.
Day 8: Winter skin will make you just feel bleh. Use this Brown Sugar body scrub in the shower to remove all that dead skin. It also comes in a great gift-able set.
Day 9: Spruce up your or a friends book shelves with an air purifying plant.
Day 10: Is your home a space you never want to leave? Home guru Joanna Gaines shares all her secrets in this book.
Day 11: A daily reminder that you got this while enjoying your morning coffee.
Day 12: Make things easy on yourself and prepare a quick dinner with an Instapot. I know a lot of people with this item on their list!
Day 13: Sometimes it looks like procrastination, but if everything is unorganized, I can’t focus. Get that unruly junk drawer in order with this expandable drawer organizer.
Day 14: After a long day of holiday shopping, take a long hot bath and relax with a Coconut Milk Bath Soap.
Day 15: I can’t always get to a class or the gym this time of year. But I have a set of weights in my house and take 5-10 minutes of my day to exercise.
Day 16: This book, Big Magic, was one of my favorite reads of the year. If your highly creative or don’t even think you have a creative bone in your body, this book will inspire you.
Take care of yourself this holiday!
